Consulate General of Switzerland in Lyon
As the official representation of Switzerland on the ground, the Consulate General carries out a variety of tasks within its designated regional consular district. It supports Swiss citizens, maintains contact with local authorities and institutions, and promotes bilateral relations in the areas of consular affairs, economy, culture and science.
Responsibilities
Visa support is provided exclusively by the Embassy in Paris. The Consulate general provides consular services for persons resident in: Ain (01), Allier (03), Ardèche (07), Cantal (15), Côte d'Or (21), Doubs (25), Drôme (26), Isère (38), Jura (39), Loire (42), Haute-Loire (43), Nièvre (58), Puy-de-Dôme (63), Rhône (69), Haute-Saône (70), Saône-et-Loire (71), Savoie (73), Haute-Savoie (74), Yonne (89), territoire de Belfort (90).
Message concerning access to the counters of our representation
The counters of this representation are accessible, provided that an appointment has been booked in advance by telephone on +33 4 72 75 79 10. This measure does not apply to appointments for passport/ID card, which are automatically booked online.
